“His paintings are stunning” -Francesca Anderson ASBA

Bob Crelin has spent four decades as a professional artist, award winning designer, environmentalist, and published author. His work has influenced trends in the musical instrument industry, the lighting industry and environmental justice efforts.

As a young, shy child in the 1960s Bob was entranced by the beauty and the miracle of flowers adorning the world around him. He spent much of his days exploring abandoned lots and fields where beauty pushed her way through cracks in concrete and rusted ruins.  Bob felt transported by the wild flowers, as divine expressions of nature. Now many years later, he channels their beauty and grace into his paintings in the hopes of transporting others.

With methodical planning for season and location, Bob seeks out the harmonic convergence of light, color and setting to capture the delicate, ethereal magic of a flower. He embraces his childhood love and employs a refined sense of composition and flow to create arresting portraits of nature’s floral subjects.

The grand expressions of Bob’s large canvas works celebrate the exquisite gifts of Mother Nature.
